I haven’t wrote a long time about Cryptocoins, so here’s some news about the latest updates all-in-one!
Since my last update covered here on AW, three more updates were released with loads of new icons and features. Let’s have a look what changed.
With all the recent updates, Cryptocoins now covers over 85 most favourite cryptocurrencies (totalling 170 icons). As far as I know, that makes this iconpack the most complete crypto~ pack online. Feel free to grab ’em for free:
- v2.0: tweaked styles for separate namespace (see issue #7), fixed Ripple (XRP) typo, added Digitalcoin (GDC), DigixDAO (DGD/DGX), Facton (FCT), Jumbucks (JBS), Lisk (LISK), PiggyCoin (PIGGY), Rubies (RBIES), Sarcoin (SAR), SterlingCoin (SLG), Tether (USDT), Zeitcoin (ZEIT)
- v1.6: added Aeon (AEON), Synereo (AMP), Anoncoin (ANC), Bata (BTA), Clams (CLAM), Cloakcoin (CLOAK), Decred (DCR), Neos (NEOS), Gulden (NLG), OKcash (OK), Omni (OMNI), Scotcoin (SCOT), Storj (SJCX), Startcoin (START), Syscoin (SYS), Transfercoin (TX), Vanillacoin (VNL), Verge (XVG), updated Rubycoin (RBY)
- v1.5: added DigiByte (DGB), DogeCoinDark (DOGED), EmerCoin (EMC), Ethereum (ETH), MintCoin (MINT), MonaCoin (MONA), MicroCoin (MRC), NeuCoin (NEU), Novacoin (NVC), Rubycoin (RBY), updated BitBay
Backward compatibility was broken with 2.0 version. Webfont styles were tweaked, so that Cryptocoins can coexist with other icon packs (e.g. Font Awesome). You need to include the icons via “cc BTC” (with a space in between) instead of “cc-BTC” (as in the earlier versions). If you’ll download this update, be sure to update you classes in your websites/apps, otherwise it will break. Sorry for inconveniece, but it’s for the good of all of us ;)
At the moment of writing this, I’m so happy to say, that Cryptocoins has been downloaded over 1000 times via this website + who knows how much on Github. I’m so glad this work finds its audience and it’s not just me wasting my free time.
I’m also delighted (not that I want to jinx it), that I was asked if Cryptocoins could be used on a new exchange, which is currently in development! I encourage you all to use these icons wherever you want; after all, they’re GPL-licenced (send me a link afterwards, I’d love to see what you’ve done!).
